Publication Schedule

Publication Schedule

Boreal Conferences operates on a rapid, rolling-submission model designed to bring accepted research to readers as quickly as possible without compromising editorial rigour. This schedule applies equally across all three conference series — TICECC, VICES, and MICHS.

Frequency

Proceedings are published twice a month, resulting in 24 issues per year across each conference series. There are no fixed submission deadlines or seasonal calls for papers; manuscripts may be submitted at any time throughout the year and are processed as they arrive.

Turnaround

Once a manuscript has been accepted following peer review, authors can expect publication within within 7 days. This turnaround includes DOI registration, final typesetting, and issuance of the author certificate, in addition to the standard 2–4 week peer review period that precedes acceptance.

Rolling Submissions

Because submissions are accepted continuously, authors are not required to wait for a specific call for papers or a fixed submission window. Each manuscript is reviewed on its own timeline and, if accepted, scheduled for the next available issue based on its readiness for production, ensuring a steady and predictable route from acceptance to publication.
