Author Guidelines
All submissions to Boreal Conferences are handled through our Open Journal Systems (OJS) submission portal. Authors are encouraged to review the following requirements before submitting.
Templates
LaTeX and DOCX manuscript templates are available for download directly from the submission portal and should be used to ensure consistent formatting across all published proceedings.
Manuscript Structure
- Title
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- Keywords (4–6)
- Main text following an IMRaD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) or another structure appropriate to the discipline
- References formatted in APA 7th edition
Length
Manuscripts should be between 4 and 12 pages in length, inclusive of references, tables, and figures.
Language
Manuscripts may be submitted in English or French, reflecting Canada's official bilingualism.

- Manuscript formatted using the official template
- Abstract and keywords included
- References formatted in APA 7th edition
- All author affiliations and contact details confirmed
