Aims & Scope

Aims & Scope

Boreal Conferences publishes original research, case studies, and methodological contributions across three distinct disciplinary series. Authors are encouraged to review the specific scope of each series before submission to ensure appropriate fit.

TICECC — Toronto

The Environmental Science & Climate Change proceedings welcome contributions on climate modelling and adaptation, environmental policy, biodiversity and conservation, sustainable resource management, pollution and remediation science, and the socio-economic dimensions of environmental change.

VICES — Vancouver

The Education & Social Sciences proceedings welcome contributions on pedagogy and curriculum design, educational technology, inclusive and special education, sociology, political science, psychology, and applied social research methods.

MICHS — Montreal

The Health Sciences & Nursing proceedings welcome contributions on clinical and community nursing practice, public health, health systems research, patient safety and care quality, epidemiology, and interdisciplinary health sciences research.

Across all three series, submissions should present original findings, sound methodology, and a clear contribution to the relevant field. Interdisciplinary work that bridges two or more of these areas is welcome and will be directed to the most appropriate series by the editorial office.
